Mr. Andrew W "Lucky" Capwell, Jr., 89 of Fort White, FL, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. He was born on May 13, 1926 in Providence, RI to the late Andrew and Mabel Capwell, Sr. Lucky served in the United States Navy during WWII and was at Omaha Beach on D-Day and he also served during the Korean Conflict. Lucky retired from General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT after many years as a machinist. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and also a member of the Royal Order of the Moose for over 20 years and held every position including Ambassador for 2 years. Andrew's passion was the love of his family and the love of his life, his wife.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Mary Williams Capwell; his children, William and Wes Capwell and Andrea Trainor; grandchildren, Christopher, Dustee and Jennifer; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at the Loyal Order of the Moose at 624 NE Williams St., Lake City, FL 32055. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center at 6037 W US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
