Andrew J. Lewis 73, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, at the HCA Florida North Florida hospital in Gainesville, FL. following an extended illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Lonnie Lee and Audry May McDonald Lewis one daughter Lynntoya Brown, and one nephew Gary Welch. Andrew had made Lake City his home for the past twenty years after moving here from Jacksonville, FL and he enjoyed riding the golf cart, fishing, spending time with his family, and was an Avid Florida Gator Fan.

He is survived by his wife of one year Joanne Lewis Lake City, FL, four sons Marcus Johnson (Candace) Lake City, FL; Travis Johnson (Sherlelyn) Ft. White, FL; Kevin Johnson (Jessica) and Mario Johnson (Vanessa) both of Lake City, FL. three daughters Candice Brown, Pahokee, FL; Consuela Brown (Morris) West Palm Beach, FL; Veronica Pelham (Marcell) Lake City, FL; three sisters Shirley McDonald, Pennsylvania,  Jean Williams, Chicago and Paulette Watkins (Willie) Jackson, MS, three nephews Rodney Welch, Maurice McDonald both of Chicago and Ronderrick Jones, Lake City, FL;  his favorite niece Gina LeVan(John) Gettysburg, PA. three grandchildren Shanyla, Sriyah, and Linda Brown, and a host of other grandchildren, great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Andrew will be conducted on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Souls Harbor Church of God in Christ with Reverend Carl Booth officiating. Visitation with the family will be Friday, August 25, 2023, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Lake City, FL.
