Alta Marie Lafferty, 48 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City.  She was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky and had made Lake City her home for the past four years.  She had previously been a resident of the Fanning Springs area.  Alta enjoyed crafting, playing games on her phone and have her "Girls Day" getting her nails done.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Parrott Hagi.

Survivors include her companion, David Mcabee, Lake City; her children, Laura Angel Renee Bailey (Chad), Blountstown, FL, Brittany Sharlene Coleen Williamson (Tyler), Catoosa, OK and Dustin Lee Norman, Lake City; grandchildren, Bryson, Noah and Elijah of Blountstown, FL and Jaydon, Chrystal and Revan of Catoosa, OK.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
