Mrs. Aline Noegel Tidwell Pritchard, 80, of Lake City passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Shands in Gainesville after a lengthy illness. With her family by her side, the Heavens opened up for this amazing earthly woman. Aline was born in Lake City, Florida to the late A.L. and Mozell Hunter Noegel. Her childhood was spent playing with her many cousins and being adored by her grandparents Frank and Emma Noegel and Isreal and Virgie Hunter. She attended Lake Lona School. Aline moved to Dade County with her parents as a young teenager and attended South Dade High School and became a wife and mother in Miami, Florida. Aline found her calling to be a waitress at IHOP in Miami, then moved back to Lake City in 1978. She also found her IHOP calling in Lake City where she worked for over 25 years. Her IHOP family referred to her as Ms. Al or Bad Al, and her local customers and coworkers all adored her. Aline was preceded by her parents, A.L. and Mozell Noegel, her 2 late husbands, Charles Tidwell and Owen Pritchard, her son Charles (Chuck) Tidwell, and grandson Zachary Pritchard.
Survived by her children, Karen Tidwell Brown (Jim), Pam Tidwell Fox (Timothy), Kenneth Tidwell (Rhonda), Radar Pritchard (Diane), Lee Pritchard, Barry Pritchard (Tina), Doug Pritchard (Coree), David Pritchard (Heather); 21 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Nash; brother, Phillip Noegel (Cookie); Aunt, Gussie Hunter Maclaren; uncle, Ed Hunter (Jackie) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Aline was a long lifetime member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Wellborn, FL where she also is survived by her church family.
Aline's children would like to thank all of their wonderful friends and family for being at our sides during this sad time of our lives, and thank you for all of your prayers for us and our mother.
