Mr. Alfred Richard Miller, Jr., 67, of Lake City, died Tuesday, April 28, 2008 at Avalon Health Care and Rehab Center in Lake City. He was born in Miami, FL, the son of the late Alfred Richard and Marie Reynolds Miller, Sr. and moved to Lake City four years ago from Miami, FL. In his spare time Mr. Miller enjoyed hunting, fishing, he was a member of the Moose Lodge of Lake City, V.F.W. He was a very loving and generous man and was of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 37 years of marriage, Jane Miller, Miami, FL, three sons, Shawn Miller (Rebekkah), Lake City, Tim Slawson (Maria) and Mike Slawson (Jennifer), both of Miami, daughter, Cheryl Miller, Miami, FL; three sisters, Ann Marie Parrott, Largo, FL, Kathleen Miller, Clearwater, FL and Lisa Miller, Branford, FL; six grandchildren, Aleyah Miller, Stephen, Christopher and Jeff Slawson, Leandra Miller and Deannah Parker and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
