Alexander Gunn Paul III passed away Saturday July 11, 2015. Born on January 25, 1939 in Bend Oregon to the late Alexander Gunn Paul Jr. and Margaret Fraleigh Paul, he moved to Lake City as a young man. After graduation from Columbia High School and Florida State University, he was in the Coast Guard. He held several positions in the banking business in Jacksonville before working for and then retiring from the Florida Department of Transportation in Lake City. He enjoyed his Elks Club buddies, was an avid golfer and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his sister Sally Paul Williams (Bo), nephews Ben Williams (Anna) and Alexander Paul Williams, and niece Margaret Williams McMichael. Great nieces and nephews Ashley, Ryan, Bo, Paul, Abby, John, Ander. Great great nephew Bowen and great great niece Harper.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at a later date and announced in the Lake City Reporter.
