Mr. Albert H. Hendricks, Jr., 40 of Lake City died Friday, June 10, 2011. A native of Stuart, FL, Albert had been a resident of Lake City for thirty-three years. He was the Director of Rehabilitation at Lake Butler Hospital. He was an Occupational Therapist specializing in Hand Therapy, He was a member of The Orchard Community Church in Lake City. Among his many activities, Albert enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, riding his John Deer Gator in the woods, spending time at his condo on St. Augustine Beach, was an avid Florida Gator fan, and especially loved spending time with his daughters.

Albert is survived by his father and mother, Albert & Ginny Hendricks, Sr. of Lake City; his daughter, McKayla Hendricks and former wife, Shannon Hendricks of Brownsburg, IN, and daughter, Allie Hendricks of Live Oak; sister, Wendy Smithy of Lake City; nephew and niece, Zachary and Katie Smithy of Lake City.

Funeral services for Mr. Hendricks will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011 in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Blalock officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
