Aileen Agnes Dahlberg, 100, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Solaris Healthcare of Lake City after a brief illness. She was born on May 26, 1925 in New York City to the late Fred and Agnes Johnson. Aileen graduated from Julia Richman High School in New York City. She married Leonard on September 11, 1948; and they lived in Long Island, NY until 1970, when they moved to Florida. Aileen retired from the Department of Children and Families; and her and her husband enjoyed cruising to the Bahamas, river cruises on the Mississippi and spending weekends in St. Augustine. After Leonard's death in 2001, Aileen joined a Senior Ladies Group, where she met many new friends. She loved hosting the ladies for cards in her home. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Leonard Dahlberg; sons, Leonard Dahlberg, Jr. and Peter Alan Dahlberg; and her grandson, Nicholas Ryan Dahlberg.

She is survived by her son, Gary Dahlberg (Linda) of Alabama; daughter-in-law, Debi Dahlberg of Lake City; grandson, Jason Dahlberg (Yen) and two great-granddaughters, Alma and Jessica all of Beijing, China; and her step-grandson, Matt Friedman of Charlotte, NC.

At Aileen's request, there will be no service and she will be quietly laid to rest next to her husband at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
