Agnes June Holloway, 89 of Lake City, passed away on Saturday. August 14, 2021 at the Lake Nona Medical Center in Orlando. She was born in Miami, Florida to the late Harvey and Evelyn Cord Rouse. Mrs. Holloway had made Lake City her home for the past 43 years having moved here from Sweetwater, Florida. She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Along with her late husband, Robert "Pop" Holloway, Mom and Pop team drove for Terry Dicks Trucking for many years. She enjoyed traveling and going to Cherokee, North Carolina. Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Pop" Holloway; and two sons, Robert Holloway, Jr. and Ronald Holloway.
Survivors include her son, Richard D. Holloway (Kim), Lake City; four siblings, Harvey Rouse, Jr. (Roberta), Elizabeth Russell, Lillian Elliott and Frederick Rouse (Deborah); two daughters-in-law, Deloris Holloway and Carrie Holloway; five grandchildren, Robert Russell Holloway (Michelle), Robbie Holloway, Keith Holloway (Sam), Adam Holloway (Ashley) and Kaelin Holloway; seven great-grandchildren also survive.
A private graveside interment for Mr. and Mrs. Holloway at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
