Obituary

Aaron Reynold Anderson, 79, of Lake City, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 after a sudden illness. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota on July 16, 1941 to the late Reynold and Genevieve Adams Anderson. He was a 1959 graduate of Proctor High School in Proctor, MN and moved to Lake City in 1971. He worked for a number of years in sales for Van Ladder a part of Southern Bell. He also owned SpringHill Restaurant in White Springs, The Donut Shop near Occidental, between White Springs and Jasper, Anderson Parking Lot Maintenance and Anderson Asphalt and was known far and wide as "Mr. A". He retired in 2012 and had three loves, his wife, Jo, fishing and playing pool; but not always necessarily in that order. He attended the Hopeful Baptist Church here in Lake City and was a member of the APA Pool League with his team, Different Strokes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jo Frances Anderson and sister, Vera Hanson

He is survived by his sons; Dennis Martin and Timothy Anderson (Kim); daughters, Tammy Hartley (Pat) and Dawn Anderson; sister, Rosemary Douma. Nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive.

A memorial service for Mr. Anderson will be conducted on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Cunningham officiating and Mr. Robert Hartley giving the eulogy.
