Ms. Windy Hall Tang, 43, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, November 21, 2017 at her Aunt’s home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Lake City on July 18, 1974 to Ernest Julian and the late Shirley Ann Rhoden Hall. She has lived all of her life in Lake City and was a Columbia High School class of 1992 Graduate and a graduate of the Rheberg Hairstyle Academy. She was the owner and operator of Windy Tang’s Hair and Nail Salon here in Lake City and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She loved to play pool, and loved being a hairstylist. She also loved to garden in her spare time as well as spending time with her friends and family. She loved her two sons dearly and especially loved her new grandson. She also loved all of her nieces and nephews dearly. She is preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Hall; brother, Ricky Hall; Maternal Grandparents, Willie D. and Helen Rhoden; Paternal Grandfather, Ernest “Pat” Hall and Aunt; Sandra Humphreys.

 

She is survived by her two loving sons; Bryan Mitchell (Sammie Schauer) and Bryce Tang both of Lake City; new grandbaby; David Julian Mitchell of Lake City; father, Julian Hall of Lake City; brother; Timmy Hall (Shannon) of Lake City; maternal grandmother, Mildred Hall Commander of Lake City; Aunts and Uncles; Linda Baugh (Jerry) of Lake City, Calvin Hall of Lake City, Danny Hall (Beverly) of Lake City, David Rhoden (Theresa) of Lake City and Susan Green (Junior) of Olustee. Nieces; Courtney Hall Collins (Stephen), Lauren Hall Beadles (Cody), Katie Hall Sessions (Dylan), Jayden Hall, T.J. Hall, Gracie Leigh Ann Hall and great niece and nephew; Raleigh Ann Beadles and Cohyn Richard Collins; her boyfriend; Michael Griffin of Lake City and her best friend; Billie Logan Garner of Daytona along with many cousins, friends and extended family members also survive.

 

Memorial Funeral Services for Windy will be conducted on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (441 North). Following the graveside services at 2:30 PM, there will be a Celebration of Life Gathering in honor of Windy at the Deep Creek Community Center, 11934 N. US HWY 441. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Windy Tang Memorial Fund at People's State Bank in Lake City.
