Linda A Creel, 61, of Jacksonville, Fl., passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital.
Born March 1, 1957, in Jacksonville, Fl., to the Late James Cecil Carroll and Emily Mae Wilkinson Carroll. Her family was everything to her and she loved them very much, she enjoyed cooking, volunteering at her daughter’s school-Wadsworth Elementary in Palm Coast, also loved to ride their Harley together with her husband. She attended First Baptist of Callahan and sang in the choir. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her loving husband of 30 years; Michael P. Creel, of Jacksonville, son; Jacob Creel, of Jacksonville, daughter; Emily Creel, of Jacksonville, Julie Hendricks of Jacksonville, Tanya Shaw of Jacksonville, and grandson; Johnny Dooling, of Jacksonville, Emma Creel of Jacksonville, sister; Wanda Creel Harrell (Gene) of Jacksonville, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Creel will be conducted at 2:00pm, Thursday, July 5, 2018 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Creel officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service (1:00pm- 1:45pm) at the funeral home.
