James “Jimbo” D. Radford, 38, of Lake City, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Lake City Medical Center. He was born in Gainesville on April 1, 1980 to Susan Kay Davis. He has made the Branford/Lake City area his home for all of his life. He was a Pre-Planner for Asplundh Tree Service, and had over 20 years working in the tree business between Asplundh and Burford Tree Service. Jimbo loved mudding and more especially loved his family. In his spare time he also loved to hunt and watersports. He attended the Burlington-Santa Fe Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years; Brandi Morrison Radford; daughters; Kayleigh Miller; Brynsleigh Radford and Rayleigh Radford all of Lake City; son; Wyatt Anderson of Branford; Mother; Susan Allderdge (William Long) of Worthington Springs; brothers; Robert Radford (Heather) of Worthington Springs and J.D. Strickland of Lake City; sister; Georgia Lee Pettrey (Jeff) of Live Oak. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Jimbo will be conducted on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the funeral home.
