Faye Anderson Ambrosine, 89, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, August 12, 2018 at the Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center after an extended illness. She was born in Ware, Massachusetts on August 15, 1928 to the late Oscar Adolf Anderson and Gladys Gibbins Anderson. She has made Lake City her home since 1993, moving here from the Lake Worth area. She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Central here in Lake City. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Ambrosine; son, Jack A. Ambrosine; and brother, Russell O. Anderson.
She is survived by her loving daughter; Kathy McClenithan (Punkie) of Ellisville; granddaughter; Laura Wright (Tony) and great-granddaughters, Alaina Wright and Katrina Wright of Worthington Springs also survives.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ambrosine will be conducted on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. (one hour prior to the services) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be considered to the Wounded Warriors foundation.
