Dorothy "Dot" L. Harden

Dorothy “Dot” L. Harden, 78, of Lake City, Fl., passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Haven Hospice Care Center

 Born September19, 1939, in Nichols, Ga., to the late Herbert Lee Stokes and Laura Bell Lewis. Mrs. Harden work and retired from The K-Mart Restaurant and Five Points Elementary School Cafeteria. She was a member at First Full Gospel for 50 years; she loved her church, her family, and her friends, also loved making banana pudding. She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 56 years Printice Harden, one son; Gene Harden, and brother; Vernon Wade.

 Survivors include her son; Emory (Donna) Harden, of Richmond, Ky., two daughters; Cynthia (John D. Jr.) Mills, of Live Oak, Fl., and Sara Ann (Robert) Lambert, of Jacksonville, Fl., two brothers; Jr Stokes ( Jo Ann), of Alma, Ga., and Ruben Sidney Stokes (Theresa), of Villa Rica, Ga., two sisters; Vinnie Mae Meeks (Donald Ray), of Nichols, Ga., and Gloria Sue Carter (Roger), of Nichols, Ga., six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, best friend; Betty Haltiwanger and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service for Mrs. Hardens will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at First Full Gospel of Watertown with Pastor Stanley Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family and friends will be held from (1:30pm- 2:30pm) one hour prior to service at the church.
