Delores D Crews

Ms Delores Deanna Crews went on to be with the Lord on December 4, 2017 at the the age of 77 in Lake City, Fl after a short illness.
She is survived by her son Samuel Wayne Davis (Laura R Davis), grandson Kyle (Erin Davis), sister Darnell Hill (Richard), niece Ricky Lee Everett (Beau), great niece Bo Scarlett Everett. Also survived by cousins and other nieces/nephews, and loving friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Alzy E Thomas and father Leon D Stanley, stepfather Charlie D Thomas, daughter Joyce Denise Crews , two brothers Donald E Stanley and Jr and Mary Stanley.
Delores Crews was born in Washington County, Fl to Alzy E Thomas and father Leon D Stanley. She attended Hawthorne High-school. She grew up in Alachua County and spent the majority of her adult life in Lake City,Fl. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist of Lake City, Fl. She had professed her faith in Christ as a young person. She worked many years at the GE plant in Alachua , Fl. In her retirement years, she worked at Nearly New Consignment in Lake City,Fl. She loved shopping especially consignment shopping, collecting antique jewelry, coins, and other various pieces. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was avid animal lover and had a special kitty named Graye. She loved her grand pups, Mater and Brownie Davis very much. A funeral is scheduled for December 7, 2017 at 11am at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral home in Lake City, Florida. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Reverend Dale Tompkins will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Ms Delores Crews .
