Carlos Armando Santos, 47, of Orlando, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. He was born in Corinto, El Salvador on March 25, 1971. He has lived in the Orlando area the last year, but spent most of his adult life in the Lake City area. His true passion in life was spending time in the garden growing beautiful flowers and vegetables. When he wasn’t in the garden, his time was spent enjoying his family and pets. He was of the Catholic Faith and was a member of the Epiphany Catholic Church here in Lake City.
He is survived by his mother and father; Juan Santos Alvarez and Petrona Ventura de Santos; siblings; Maria Zamora (Carlos) of Ft. Lauderdale, Celia Navarro (José) of Pompano Beach, Juan T. Santos (Gretchen Sperow) of Jacksonville, Patricia “Paty” Bolaños (Gilberto) of Lake City, Lupe Santos (Francisco Vasquez) of Coral Springs, Maria Eugenia Santos-Rainford (Robert) of Tamarac and Marta Veronica Reyes (Miguel) of Pompano Beach; life partner; Ricky Ratliff. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends also survive.
A memorial Mass for Mr. Santos will be conducted on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Robert Trujillo officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at the funeral home; with a rosary starting at 5:30 P.M. Following the Mass, the family will gather at
Casa Isabella, 2338 NW Bascom Norris Dr., Lake City, FL 32055, the family would like to invite family and friends to join them there following the services.
