Robert will be missed by so many in Lake City. His many years at Publix brought smiles to more than you will ever know. He was a shining light to all who were lucky enough to know him. We missed him when he retired from Publix, but were so happy to occasionally run into him and his wife on their Monday shopping trips. Our condolences and prayers are with you all on your loss.

Family of Robert: From the moment we met Robert, that friendly, smiling face of Publix, and George shared memories of the war in Korea we became instant friends as he shared his many experiences in WWII. We know what a loss it will be to the whole family. We too will miss his smiling face!! A salute from a Korean War Veteran who landed at Inchon, Korea in 1950 to a WWII Veteran who was harbormaster at Inchon, Korea at the end of WWII in 1945. See you in Valhalla!
