Pamela "Pam" Register Miller

June 26, 1963 ~ January 20, 2018 (age 54)

Pam Register Miller, 54 of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville following a sudden illness.  Pam was born and raised in Lake City and was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1981 and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.  She was the former owner of two restaurants in Lake City, the “Dawg House” and the “Café on the Square”.  Pam currently owned and operated the “Eatery and Catering” food trailer with her husband David.  Pam enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving wife to her husband and mother to her daughter.  She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Register, Sr. and one brother, Howard Register, Jr.

 

Survivors include her husband, David Miller, Lake City; her mother, Jewel Dobbs Register, Lake City; her daughter, Alisha Taylor (fiancé’ Stephen Herring), St. Mary’s, GA; four siblings, Kay Duchene (John), Dan Register (Stacie), Ronnie Register (Shelley) and Steve Register all of Lake City; one stepdaughter, Katrina Hughes (Christian), Andover, N.H.; one step son, Josh Boehnke, Lake City; five grandchildren, Ivory, Ethan, Natalie, Farren and Aaron; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved Chihuahua, “Rocky”.

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Roberts officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 6-8:00 PM at the funeral home.
