Nancy Jane Lomax Fulton Moseley, 80 of Wellborn, Florida, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. Nancy Jane was born on February 12, 1936 in Southern Ohio to the late Hanson Lomax and Carrie Jane Gennicks Lomax. She went to Westerville High School and graduated in 1954. She went on to earn her AA degree from the Ohio State University. She held many positions through her colorful life. Her favorite was the Children’s Librarian at the Suwannee River Regional Library in Live Oak, FL for 15 years. Mrs. Moseley was a faithful member of Mt. Beulah Baptist church in Wellborn and was also a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star chapter in Wellborn. She enjoyed being an active 4-H Leader during her children’s youth, and reading, camping, traveling and meeting people. She was preceded in death by one son, Brett Luther Fulton, one granddaughter, Carrie Ann Creamer and her step-father, Luther Stone.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Larry Moseley, Wellborn; one son, Richard Melvin Fulton (Betty); four daughters, Debi Hassebroek (Larry), Margaret Fulton, Tina Jones (Glenn) and Julia Fulton; grandchildren, Andrew Creamer (Lisa), Richard Melvin “Trey” Fulton, III (Theresa), Jessica Leigh Fulton (Michael), Christina Fulton, Brett Michael Fulton, Brandon T. Jones (Cheyenne), Cory A. Jones, Darin C. Jones, Jarred Hassebroek (Ashley), Derek Hassebroek and Brett Hassebroek; and a host of great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews and nieces also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church in Wellborn with Rev. Lewis Gooch, Pastor officiating, and Mr. Dwight Law speaking. Interment will follow at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Haven Hospice of Lake City, LCMC, Baya Pointe and Mt. Beulah Baptist Church family. Nancy will be missed but her light will shine on through those who loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.
