Mrs. Mildred Eloise Harrison, 87, of Ft. White, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center.
Born on April 18, 1928 in Columbia County to the late Ressie Williams and Matilda Raulerson. She was one of nine children, loved gardening, cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, and fishing. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church. Mrs. Harrison was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Clinton (J.C.) Harrison (1981), son; Roy Harrison, daughter; Phyllis Beil, sisters; Lois, Thelma, Euralee, brothers; R.B., Charles, W.C. and Jeral.
Survivors include her son; Joseph Randy Harrison, of Ft. White, Fl., one sister; Adell Torrez, of Homestead, Fl., Son-in-law David E. Beil, grandchildren; D.J. Beil (Tiana) of Sunset, La and Brandon Beil (Amanda) of Lake City, Fl, great grandson; Bentley Beil of Sunset, La, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harrison will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Elim Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Elim Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Friday, July 24, 2015 at the funeral home.
