Larry Geiger, 66, of Lake City, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Shands Lake Shore Hospital.
Born September 25, 1950 in Raiford, Fl., to the late Henry Foster Geiger and Genina Pauline McGlashin. Larry served his country in the United States Army from 1969-1971. He was a diesel mechanic for Anderson Columbia for 20 years. He also loved his animals, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by one brother, Henry Foster Geiger, Jr and one sister, Rosemary Morgan.
Survivors include his loving wife Elaine Geiger; two sons; Ronnie Geiger, and Robbie (Heather) Geiger, two daughters; Genina Christie and Pam (Danny) Daniels, brother; Stanley Geiger, sister; Darlene King, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service for Mr. Geiger will be conducted at 3:30pm Wednesday, August 30, 2017 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating.
