Mr. John Hardy Hutchison, 91, of Lake City, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, July 30, 2017, at the Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice Care Center after an extended illness. He was born in Douglas, Georgia on May 3, 1926. He worked as a service man for Coca-Cola Bottling Company, from which he retired from with over 20 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church and was a US Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Hazel Hutchison.
He is survived by his daughter; Glenda Vinson and his brother; Asa Hutchison. Three grandchildren; Adam, Jeannie and Julie along with six great-grandchildren; Madeline, Denise, Kala and Koty.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Hutchison will be conducted on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. in the Jacksonville National Cemetery with Rev. Ron Thompson, Pastor of Pine Grove Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow.
