Jacqueline Dorothy Sass Henry, 87, passed peacefully at the Haven-Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City on February 12, 2018 after an extended illness. Jacqueline was a devout Catholic and attended Epiphany Catholic Church since moving to Lake City in 2006. Jacqueline was a retired teacher in the North Carolina School System. She is preceded in death by her husband; John Francis Henry; her sons; John Henry and Joseph Henry; Father; Anthony Sass; Mother; Elizabeth Sass; brother; Kenneth Sass; niece; Jennifer MacBean and son-in-law; Roland Coté.
She is survived by her children; Veronica Segars (Herb) of Brick, NJ, Betty Ann of Deltona, FL, Deborah Cox (Stephen) of Lake City, Paul Henry (Nancy) of Boynton Beach, Matthew Henry (Felice) of Flanders, NJ, Kenneth Henry (Paulette) of Charlotte, NC, Kevin Henry (Jenifer) of Boynton Beach. She had 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren that also survive.
Memorial services for Mrs. Henry will be conducted on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Robert Trujillo officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Friday evening, February 16, 2018 at the funeral home with a Rosary beginning at 4:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the local Catholic Charities.
