David means beloved.
All the beloved days the good Lord gave us to experience together! What a wonderful Saviour we have. The good Lord fulfilled your favorite Bible verse PS 23 in the parting.
..Thou anointest my head with oil;. my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Until that great and blessed day of our Lord's appearing; You are greatly missed in my heart!
Your Melissa "Angel"

I am a classmate of Shack's and unfortunately had not seen him frequently over the years. When our acquaintances were renewed recently it was a sincere joy to visit with him. Though I was saddened by his decline in health his sweet smile and zest for life remained strong. When we spoke quietly about the rally of his classmates to his aid, speaking eloquently and sincerely he replied "I am a blessed man...!" I took chocolate strawberries to him while he was in hospital care and he prayed with me, kissing my hand in thanks. I will never forget his slightly mischievous yet sweet smile. The class of 1967 gave a valiant attempt to bring his home back to healthy condition and to show how much we cared. Even though he was unable to return to his repaired home he knew we tried; the fact is that God needed him more...His entrance through the Pearly Gates was on TWO strong and healthy legs! RIP my friend!

I know this is normally a space to leave condolences for family and friends but this is to Shack! Shack you will never know how many lives you have touch in your life. The past 9 months you have made an even bigger impact on your classmates and other friends. You have brought us all together again as nobody else has done. I thank you my friend. To my fellow classmates I want to personally thank you all for the way you have all come together in our support of a fellow family member. No better class than the CHS Class of 1967. We love and miss you Shack.
