Brian Keith Kosko

Mr. Brian Keith Kosko, 59, of Lake City, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, September 23, 2017 at the Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 10, 1957 to Robert Francis Kosko and Patricia Kosko. He was a truck driver by trade, and was a member of the Cherry Hill Masonic Lodge #12 in Fort White, where he was the past Worshipful Master in 2008 and where he also earned his 25 year membership certificate. He also was a member of the Scottish Rite, York Rite and the Lake City Shrine Club. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, photography and working cattle. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his loving children; Ryan Kosko (Kayla) of Lake City and Nicole Lynn Deal (Jason) of Fayetteville, NC; his mother and father; Robert and Patricia Kosko of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brothers: Douglas Kosko of Old Fort, TN and Jeffery Kosko of Pompano Beach, FL; sisters; Milissa Rubino (John) of Pompano Beach, FL and Victoria Carmosino (Arthur) of Boca Raton, FL. Grandchildren; Presley and Rhyder; nieces and nephews; April, Daniel and Joshua Kosko, Amelia Rubino and Cara Carmosino also survive.

Memorial services for Mr. Kosko will be conducted on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert Bass, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Lake City, officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please consider donations to the Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice, 6037 W. US HWY 90, Lake City, FL, 32055.
