Blanche Elaine Coppersmith, 91, of Lake City, Fl., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center.
She was born January 27, 1924 in West Palm Beach, Fl., to the late John B. Short and Clara Culpepper. She relocated from Ft. Pierce, Fl. to Lake City, Fl. in 2001 to reside with her daughter. She retired from SunBank in Ft. Pierce, Fl after 30 years of service. She enjoyed collecting Norman Rockwell, loved cooking and being with her family and grandchildren and her favorite holiday was Christmas. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband "Smokeman" A. Coppersmith, and her son John Coppersmith Sr.
Survivors include one daughter; Brenda (Bill) Morgan, of Lake City, Fl. Daughter in-law; Annette Coppersmith of Vero Beach Fl. Six grandchildren; Brian (Dee) Carter, Angela Wooten-Gude (Wayne), both of Wellborn, Fl., Kelly (Baccer) Rogers , of Lake City, Fl., Ronnie (Wendy) Coppersmith, of Vero Beach, Fl., Chad (Chris) Coppersmith, of Ft. Pierce, Fl., Kip (Dawn) Glover, of TN., fourteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
Graveside Memorial Services will be conducted at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Ft. Pierce, Fl..
