Anthony Salvatore Cacace, 77 of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Cacace and his wife made their home in Lake City since 1997 having moved here from Hollywood, FL. He was a retired bookbinder and had amazing skills on repairing old books, a talent that has passed with him. He enjoyed many years of repairing old family Bibles and books for the Lake City Historical Museum and Lake City Library. He always had a way to make people laugh and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Karen Cacace, Lake City; his nephew, David Cacace (Allison), Pompano Beach; his niece Michelle Cacace, Winter Haven; his nephew Christopher Cacace, Oakland Park; and his niece, Natalie Cacace, Orlando.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center at 6037 W US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
