Alan Christopher Holton, Jr

Alan Christopher Holton Jr., 26, passed away tragically, on Saturday, October 3, 2015. He was born in Gainesville, Florida, to Alan C. Holton Sr. and Laura K. [Beard] Moates. Alan was a loving son, father, brother, and friend who enjoyed being outdoors, hunting & fishing, and was a big Seminole Fan.

Survivors include his son, Triston Brice Holton; daughter, Kaylynn Elise Holton father, Alan Christopher Holton Sr.; mother, Laura K. (Scott) Moates; brothers, Josh Holton, Shane Moates and Colburn Holton; sisters, Miracle Holton, Shanna (Dillon) Pitts, Ashley (Matt) Cummings; and the mother of his children; Amber Wilson and several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, October 9, 2015 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Jolley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.  Alan’s favorite color was Blue and the family encourages you to please wear something that color to express your love and support of Alan and his family, during the services. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday evening, October 8, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family asks, if possible, that memorial donations be made to the Alan Holton Memorial Fund (Go Fund Me Account). They would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone that has contributed to their family, whether through donations, food or prayers, Thank You.
